This one is inspired by my new favourite podcast to listen to while I take long neighbourhood walks:
I’ve long been aware that I am the rule follower of the family. Until now, most jobs I’ve had have involved both following and enforcing rules, and herding people (for lack of a better description). If you’re guessing who is not the rule follower, it’s the dear husband who is quite a unique and independent thinker. He’s the one who kindly roped me into this Bitcoin mess in the first place. We were laughing today at the idea that I’d somehow been “redpilled”.
It also turns out that understanding human psychology is a key aspect of working out how Bitcoin became the mess that it is today, with regards to propaganda, marketing and narrative shaping. These are not technical problems but human ones.
